Greetings folks. We've arrived in Oxford and the team is getting ready to warm up. We'll post some updates when we can. It's a gorgeous morning on The Grove, and the weather's not bad either.
Ok, here's something to think about later, there's almost no wind. Kicker Leigh Tiffen just hit one from 58 yards and it looked to me that it was good (it's kind of hard to tell from the press box).
Here's your first lineup notice, senior guard Justin Britt did not make the trip. Antoine Caldwell will start at left guard, with Evan Cardwell at center.
Ok, the way they're lining up, Brandon Deaderick will start at end and Prince Hall will again start at linebacker. It's either Glen Coffee or Terry Grant at running back, both are doing first-team drills. Nothing official on that yet.
... and here's the second-unit offensive line, from left to right: Chris Capps, Taylor Pharr, Morgan Garner, David Ross, B.J. Stabler. No William Vlachos, which is a bit interesting. I wonder if Garner is the backup long-snapper.
I'm just hoping that Bama doesn't "save" Ogeron's job for him. I also hoping that JPW will have a breakout game today by getting his act together. That way they will have a little something for Phat Phil next week
