Sorry, had some technical issues.

ALabama already up 2-0 in bottom of first against Arkansas.

Rogers walked, stole second and scored on Lauren Parker's RBI single.

Parker takes second on the throw home, too late to get Rogers.

Morgan RBI double to right-center, roped it clean like an SEC Player of the Year should. Parker scores.

Reilly-Boccia reaches on a hard-hit error to second base, scoring Morgan to make it 3-0.

Holcombe sacrifices R-B to second, one out.

Amanda Locke, SEC Freshman of the Year, strikes out on an outside pitch, out two.

Up to Kelley Montalvo, who hits one that ticks off the pitcher's glove to short, good throw just gets her at first.

After 1, it's Alabama 3-0.

Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit.

Crum had my back.

Stadium report: Yes, they've got *ugh* orange 'premium' seats at the new UT ballpark.

It's a very nice park, but I like the atmosphere at the Alabama Softball Complex better, personallyh.

Train tracks beyond left field, about 500-foot shot to hit a rail car.

In the second, Eubanks walks and goes to third when Larsen reaches on an error.

Eubanks scores on a double steal, 4-0.

Rogers pops up to shallow center. Parker singles through the right side of the infield, moving Larsen to third.

Change in the circle for Arkansas, bringing Kim Jones out of the bullpen. She's a righty.

Morgan sacrifice fly to right and I kid you not they just played the Alabama fight song on a UT field -- got to be an historic first.

Alabama 5-0.

Parker caught stealing for out three.

After two innings:

Arkansas 0 0 2
Alabama 5 3 0

NOTES:

Coaches are wearing batting helmets. Apparently the SEC mandated this as a safety thing -- not during the season but all of a sudden at the tournament.

Umpires and players in the field are not wearing them.

Whatever.

Kentucky upset No. 5 Georgia, the third seed, 2-0 in the opener. Alabama will play the Wildcats tomorrow in the semifinal round unless Arkansas turns it around.

1-2-3 for Morgan in the third. Arkansas still hitless.

Things I Never Thought I'd Experience Department:

I have spent about 2 hours at Lee Stadium here today in Knoxville, Tenn.

Reilly-Boccia singled and Holcombe blasted a homer over left-field fence to make it 7-0, which brings me to my point.

I have now spent two hours in Knoxville, Tenn., and heard the 'Yea Alabama' figth song twice and I have NOT heard 'Rocky Top' yet.

Granted, Tennessee hasn't played yet, but still ...

Two-out single for Cloer gives Arkansas its first hit in the fourth. Morgan retires the next batter on a pop-up.

Still 7-0 Alabama going into the bottom of the fourth.

Alsyon Habetz has a little huddle with the team. I think the Tide wants a run-rule win.

Larsen hit by a pitch to lead off the bottomn of the fourth.

Jennifer Fenton off the bench for a sac bunt to move her to second.

Parker singles to right and Cat Dozier enters to pinch run.

((Patrick Murphy said he wanted to get some non-starters into the tourney, and also to get all three pitchers in -- Locke is warming up and I wouldn't be surprised to see her pitch the fifth))

Charlotte Morgan up with runners on the corners.

She bangs a foul-ball home run off the pole about 7 yards to the left of the foul pole.

If they let me pick batters' music, Charlotte would hit to the theme song of "The Spy Who Loved Me," ... you know, 'Nobody does it better ...'
