*O'Neal stands in against Dunne. After working a 3-1 count she takes two strikes and is punched out the flamboyant Chad Stears.

*Fleming crushes a 2-2 offering from Dunne to straight away center to tie the game at 1.

*Prier works a walk. The Jacksonville State contigent is 50-100 strong and have the white towels out in force.

*Chattanooga scratched out its first hit of the game and followed with a second. However, the Seminoles got out of the inning unscathed and lead after two, 1-0.

*FSU Buckmon scores on a single by Ahrberg to give the Seminoles a 2-0 lead.

*Chattanooga got runners on first and second with one out. However, the Mocs struck out and flied out to end the inning.l

*The Chattnooga coach, Frank Reed, complained to the NCAA representative that a Florida State fan had a sign that was disrupting his players. I talked to the fan and saw the sign that said, "Congrat Whitney Buckmon." The man is Buckmon's boyfriend and said that Buckmon's mom made the sign. I big to-do over nothing if you ask me.
