Welcome to Day Two of the Tuscaloosa Regional.

Alabama will be the visiting team in today's 2:30 p.m. winner's bracket game against Jax State, so the Tide will be the away team at its own stadium. Go figure.

Alabama is also in the first-base dugout.

UA is already in the outfield going through stretches and such. Wearing crimson jerseys with white pullovers on a slightly chilly, slightly windy, slightly overcast day.

Just as yesterday, we will be operating under NCAA restrictions once the action starts. That's one post per inning all day. Before the first game and between games it's open season.

Can it be one post that gets editted several times during an inning?

Some finals, including what I'm sure will stand up as the most interesting results of the day:

UMass 7, Michigan State 1, final (eight innings -- after being tied 1-1 at end of regulation)

Stanford 4, Lehigh 0, final

DePaul 3, Drake 1, final

Both teams in the outfield throwing the ball around, warming up. Both have already taken BP in the indoor hitting facility under the tennis complex.

UA in crimson tops with a big white A, white baseball pants, red leggings and black shoes.

Jax State in all white, with red sox and numerals.

No, just one post per inning.

Gametracker mistake on the UMass score -- 7-1 over Michigan State in regulation innings.

They probably prefer to have them called softball pants...not baseball pants :-)

*It's worth noting that Lauren Parker is in the starting lineup. She has been in and out of the lineup with an injured left shoulder. She started two games in the SEC Tournament.
