Wilson incomplete off the hands of Earl Alexander. Not a great throw, but I remember something about 'Bear' Bryant saying if it touches your hands you're supposed to catch it.

The clock has been running on incompletions. Kind of like church league basketball.

Darius Hanks is the clear star of the day after a 43-yard catch to go with his touchdown.

Now fourth-and-8 and Leigh Tiffin has defected from the Crimson squad to kick for the White.

His 48-yard attempt is blocked. Shoulda stuck with the Crimson team.

Wilson with his best pass of the day, a 13-yard sideline completion to Mike McCoy.

JP Wilson 1-of-7 for 7 yards.

Leading rusher Roy Upchurch, 4 carries for 26 yards. Wilson with two rushes for 20 yards.

Jimmy Johns with two tackles (one solo, one assist). Two solos for freshman defensive lineman Alfred McCullough.

Wilson with a nifty Favre-style pitch-pass for a short gain to Jonathan Lowe.

Jump ball. Earl Alexander wins on a high, go-get-it throw from Wilson for a 6-yard score on the left side of the end zone.

Tiffin true on the PAT, Crimson 10, White 7

OOPS award to Marquis Maze, but saved by a flag.

He fielded the kickoff as it went out of bounds inside the 5. The penalty was for kicking out of bounds, so he didn't possess it and got saved from the kind of attention you don't want to get from Saban.

Betting he'll hear about it anyway.

Looks like both QBs are doing okay today. Any more people show up in the stands, Tommy?

Not a lot. It may hit 70,000 with the official estimate. Let you know when we have it.

Crimson with a little no-huddle action.

The Wave is back, a new A-Day tradition.

That's a disappointment, and I'm sure doesn't make Saban happy. He was very vocal that the stands needed to be packed again, for the recruiting impact.

McElroy with a near pick, Chris Rogers getting both hands on a ball on a poor-choice throw to Brandon Gibson running down the right sideline.

Nick Saban nearly run over by Brandon Fanney in the way on an incomplete pass.

As Cecil Hurt points out, Nick is NOT wearing a black no-contact jersey, so he's fair game.
