Couple dozen players on the field already warming up, give or take.

Nice overlapping swirl pattern in the grass cut. Haven't seen this before.

Five QBs all wearing "Men in Black" no-contact jerseys lined up throwing balls. Punters punting, snappers snapping, returners fielding booted balls.

If you took all the people in the upper decks down to the lower tier the bottom bowl of Bryant-Denny would be full.

We're about an hour off and the early line says my friendly handshake wager taking the over at 70,000 present is not going to be a winner, but it's not over until kickoff.

I've been answering Direc-TV questions all day. Best info I have is that unless you have some kind of tiered local package that includes CSS, you don't get this game.

Probably 40,000 to 50,000, somewhere in between.

The rest of the team is now on the field, greeted by loud cheers.

The Million Dollar Band, or at least a half-price version of it, is playing the fight song.

Well guys, I am with you in mind and spirit. 25th day on location kinda took me out of my plans for making the trip. Any and all information passed this way is more than appreciated.

Roll Tide!

If you're gonna go, go all the way, if you're gonna stay, stand your ground, if you can't run with the big dogs, big dog let me walk you out, if you can't lead let me by you, if you won't follow get out of the way, you're taking up space. "Van Zant"

If I remember correctly reading the thread after the fact last year, the stadium didn't begin to buldge until the 2nd quarter. Still, 40-50k is a bit lower than I expected.

Wasson - You mean you're NOT there? Shouldn't you be there getting info for your new publication? Smiler

Agreed. Coach Bryant and Charley Thornton didn't review the Alabama games with Golden Flake and Pepsi.
