Ok, we're live courtside and both teams are warming up. Hard to believe, but this game is a sellout.

Sorry this isn't bolded at the top of the forum list. I'm trying to get someone to change that. On the plus side, I'm right now sitting behind Miss Alabama, who is doing the National Anthem.

Ok, Miss Alabama was a little nervous. We like her anyway.

Ok, forget thoughts of the game being a sellout. The student section isn't near full. Officially it is, but in reality not so much.

Ok, there's an update on the coaching search. CSTV is reporting that Nick Saban and Jim McElwain are scheduled to meet in Tucson on Sunday and both sides believe a deal could be reached.

We're trying to get an update up on the website, and we're chasing the story.

Back to basketball, Auburn up 6-5 very early.

The first 5 minutes have mostly been Richard Hendrix vs. Quan Prowell, who is Auburn's only non-guard in the starting lineup. Powell has six points so far, and drew a foul that had Mark Gottfried pretty upset.

Hendrix has four points and five rebounds, but is taking a break right now.

Bama up 12-11, 5 minutes in.

Prowell just picked up his second foul, and Robertson already has three. That could be big. Look for Bama to go to Hendrix a lot.

Gottfried just screamed at one of the officials for what he tought was a missed foul. His response was "I'll call them when they happen." Gottfried didn't let up and got his unofficial warning for the game. Next time, it's a T.

With 7:26 left in the half, emotions are high here. Hendrix just dramatically rejected a shot and Bama up 27-22.

Two steals and baskets, one for 3, have Alabama up 32-22. It's a 13-2 run. 6:48 remaining in half.

Robertson hit a 3 at the buzzer to pull within 48-35. Officials are going to take a look at the replay to make sure it's a 3, but Alabama went on a 20-2 run in the second 10 minutes. Hendrix has a game-high 16 points and six rebounds.

Ok - second half has started - Bama up 51-35. One negative thing about the first half was Alabama really missed a chance to essentially put the game away. The Tide was 4-13 on free throws.
