a loss to LSU. It appears every other major team is surging at this part of the season (FL, AUB, and LSU with great recent games), and Alabama seems to be stagnating - based on recent offensive games and practice videos. While anything is possible after that incredible block, I'm just not feeling it. And if and when it does, get ready for a relatively HUGE bandwagon failure and drop in the polls.

I'll also say that while it appears that Alabama is the better team, Auburn might pull the upset as well.

Just get ready. DO NOT underestimate how bad Alabama's offense STINKS. And I don't care about stats, I'm talking about in-game production when needed.

You're right DD. It will be a very close game, and a nailbiter. But, for whatever reason, BAMA is a 9 point favorite, and I'll have to go with that.

I'm not comparing anything. He's confident of Alabama because of a 9-point spread. I'm pointing out that there was an even larger spread against Tennessee that meant nothing.

Point: the spread means absolutely nothing and is not a security blanket.

Nope. I still love Alabama, will still cheer for them, will still attend the games, etc.

Has no impact whatsoever on the fact that this is one of the worst Alabama offenses since 1960 and McElwain is to blame.

Great teams find a way to win, even when everything is going against them. If you get this scared when Alabama has a close game with lots of mistakes, then you must have just started watching football. EVERY TEAM has those kind of games. And yet the truly great ones win. And win again.
