I'm not going to name names, but one of my relatives works for the attorney's office that is representing The University of Alabama in the latest NCAA investigation and he said the penalties are supposed to be made public sometime this week or early next week. Supposedly the sanctions are as follows:



All games that the athletes participated in that were involved in the textbook scandal will be vacated for 2007 football


Two scholarships lost for football


Three years probation


There will be no sanctions keeping Alabama out of post season play.


There were penalties for other sports, but I don't remember what all of those were and I'm sure like me most of you don't care about anything but football
