the thing not many people know but this is a fact when the Michigan job became available the year LSU won the national championship is that he accepted the job and LSU said you can take the job and the pay cut however you will not be allowed to coach in the national championship game. You wonder who was going to coach the game? Nick Saban was in Baton Rouge that weekend apparently "recruiting". However if Miles had taken the UM job Saban was ready to return to coach LSU for that game and become there coach again. Mrs. Saban never wanted to leave LSU and is not happy at Alabama. This information is from the board of directors of LSU and not some rumor but a fact. I do not care about either team but it would have been fun to see the reactions from the two schools.
