Listen, a forum is give and take, right. Buckeye, Legal, jalamb....everyone on here, regardless of political orientation, subscribes to this. Everyone except the Worst Poster Ever. If every poster were to behave as did he, we wouldn't have a forum. His posting manner allowed absolutely no room for give-and-take.

I wasn't the one who said that PeytonlovesKenny was more controversial. I only said that you would be a good one to analyze why controversial people lose their momentum and become tame. (Because you have good analytical abilities).

Well, hello everybody. I go away for a few days and I see this on my return--interesting subject, Xenu.

I was a bit perplexed at how dense TWPE seemed to be about my tacit agreement with him...but I really wasn't agreeing with him, nor was I disagreeing. I was trying to talk about sugar cane, and, well, we all saw where that led.

As for the ssmith coonass "bodyguard" allegations, I guess that for the umpteenth time I'll have to clear it up, because apparently people just can't stop bringing it up. If you all will remember, there was a certain amount of time where it was essentially ssmith vs. everyone else. A lot of what he said was quasi-inflammatory, and in my mind, I felt that it would keep the pot stirred to defend someone everyone else seemed to have a problem with. The other reason was that I didn't think what he was saying was so bad, because, frankly, I got the context in which it was meant to be taken. Most everyone else seemed to completely lose their minds during that time period. I simply chose a "side" and went with it.

i never thought that you, legal, were a "coonass clone"...i always just had the sense that you were standing up for his/our rights to voice our opinions on this forum....
