Don't let that stop you from enjoying a "honeymoon" - Do a few trial runs.

That's a thought Marsman! Smiler

If you like the less traveled places - Try Deadwood South Dakota, much history, beautiful scenery (lots of nature trails for the impromptu whoopee), casinos. And lots of nice folks.

There are a few more than that - have to to staff the casinos and all the lounges and bars.

Got married in late May and took a cruise to Alaska's Inside Passage.

The best decision I ever made for a honeymoon. Cruises are great! Everything is taken care of for you. All you have to worry about is enjoying your time.

Would recommend a cruise for anyone. My brother took a Western Caribbean cruise for his honeymoon and loved it. They really aren't that expensive either. I would definitely suggest at least looking into it.

We went to Washington, DC, and please omit the cheap jokes. Plenty to do, easy to get around, nice restaurants, and not all that expensive.
A few years ago, we visited Sirmione, Italy, on Lago di Garda (Lake Garda, in English). If you had the budget, that would be a nice place. Beautiful scenery, great food, boating, wind surfing ...

I have heard of cousins marrying before but I have never heard of cousins marrying and taking separate honeymoons. That sounds pretty cool. lol.

Breckenridge, CO (see link below). There's a lot to do in the surrounding areas even during the summer time. My wife and I spent a lot of time just driving some of the old mountain roads in an SUV. You sure won't see that much snow in the South!
