yeah I looked into that... its expensive, but worth it, I guess.

Like $6,000 for plane tickets and a motel room...

Well, might as well finish off good and then be poor and worry about it all later. You can enjoy honeymoon more than you can enjoy money in the bank. And what better place to get your bronze on?

I'll be getting married in December - we're gonna go to a little Island in the Bahamas called Eleuthera... the whole island is only 110 miles long and between 1 and 4 miles across at any given area on the island.

I've never been married, but if I were to go on a honeymoon, I'd probably want to go to Bali. I saw a show about it and it looks like the coolest place on Earth. I think the flight would be really long though, so maybe just Mexico or something. I like Cozumel a lot.

believe me, the flight is worth it...stay at the Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay...we went during the SARS epidemic and we had a layover in Taiwan. they made everyone wear a mask before deplaning and during the entire layover until we took off again. We have a great honeymoon photo of the two of us playing scrabble in the airport lounge with masks on...

We went to Ocho Rios and stayed at Sandals. We loved it, thinking about going back next summer.

We didn't have any money when we got married. My parents gave us a few hundred $$ and we went to Nashville, Tn and spent about 2-3 days. Not very romantic but so far, we have been back there every five years. Hoping to go to Hawaii for our 25th in 2010.

Rest in Peace Julie!

My wife and I went to Cancun, Mexico and stayed at the all-inclusive Moon Palace resort. Cancun is very much a party town, but if you just want to relax and enjoy the time with your new wife, Moon Palace is a great place. It's about 10 miles from the Hotel Zone and has an awesome pool that runs through the entire resort. Being all-inclusive, you, of course, get all food and drinks for free, but you also get use of all of the other Palace resorts in and around Cancun. The cost was very reasonable for the time we stayed. I believe we paid around $2400 for a four night stay, including airfare and transfers to and from the hotel.

I am surprised that no one mentioned Las Vegas..

Great honeymooon place.

Plenty to do even if you don't gamble..

If you have not been there, sorry, I can't explain it.
You must experience it..

Vegas is an awesome place. New York would be nice also. My wife and I went out to Vegas last year. She doesn't gamble at all and she loved it. Great shows and great atmosphere. Wonderful food. If you do go on your honeymoon, I would suggest staying at the Bellagio, Venetian, or the Wynn. The Bellagio is where we stayed and it's great for couples. I went this year with the guys and we stayed at Harrah's. Huge difference from the Bellagio last year.

Don't let that stop you from enjoying a "honeymoon" - Do a few trial runs.
