Baby Ruths are where it's at, man. Kit Kats are #2. (Although, I'll admit, Baby Ruths look like #2)

Baby Ruths are the best. After that it's a toss-up between Snickers and Butterfingers.

There is nothing like a Snickers bar (with almonds) between appointments, or when I am out running around and need to delay lunch.

I remember (barely Big Grin) when in college always eating a Hershey’s bar before walking in the door to take an exam. There was an immediate burst of energy and I was able to think and write really well. Drained when I got out though.

All any candy bar is good for is a burst of energy. There are many healtful snacks that would be much better for you and enable you to perform better on exams and stay alert until you get a meal. A candy bar or other desserts should be an occasional snack. While I am at it I will also tell you that soda, regular and diet, are things to avoid consuming on a regular basis. They are very unhealthy.

Thanks...but most everybody knows about good nutrition these days. I am mostly health conscious, exercise a lot, and rarely ever eat sweets or drink sodas. That's probably why candy bars work for me during the rare times. And occasional treats (bad old candy bars or not) are good for us psychologically. I guess the above post made it sound like I wolf them down every hour or so. Big Grin

You're not eating enough of them then. Try eating six of them...that should do it.

I am such a bad "Papa" that I taught my oldest granddaughter to call Baby Ruths "poo-poo bars".

That's what I was thinking--he's just not eating enough of them. Try knocking out an entire bag of those "fun-size" Snickers--you know, about 20 of them. You won't be hungry. And they call them "fun-size" because they know that you have to eat about 20 of them and it's fun.

I just had one "fun-size" Heath Bar, one Reese's Cup (normal size, which are always fun), and two "fun-size" Butterfingers. It was fun.

I raided the Halloween candy the wife bought for the curtain climbers. Kept the snickers, reeses, baby ruths, herseys and left the cheap stuff. By the way, CR, that fruit and stuff is waaaaaaay tooooooo healthy.
