This is it boys. Finally the big day for NASCAR fans are here.I refuse to call it the Sprint Cup so I will be calling it the Winston Cup this year.It just sounds better.
This should be a pretty good race I think.A lot of drivers have changed teams so it will take awhile to figure out who is driving what. Who do yall think is going to win? Im saying either Smoke or Jeff.I just think Gordon has something to prove this year after his letdown last season. Heres the way theyll roll off. 1 48 Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet Lowe's 187.075 48.109 Leader 2 55 Michael Waltrip Toyota NAPA AUTO PARTS 186.734 48.197 -0.088 3 88 Dale Earnhardt Jr. Chevrolet AMP Energy / National Guard - - - 4 11 Denny Hamlin Toyota FedEx Express - - - 5 41 Reed Sorenson Dodge Target - - - 6 20 Tony Stewart Toyota The Home Depot - - - 7 12 Ryan Newman Dodge ALLTEL - - - 8 24 Jeff Gordon Chevrolet DuPont - - - 9 5 Casey Mears Chevrolet Kellogg's / CARQUEST - - - 10 9 Kasey Kahne Dodge Budweiser - - - 11 99 Carl Edwards Ford Office Depot - - - 12 8 Mark Martin Chevrolet U.S. Army - - - 13 43 Bobby Labonte Dodge Cheerios / Betty Crocker - - - 14 6 David Ragan Ford AAA - - - 15 42 Juan Montoya Dodge Texaco / Havoline - - - 16 29 Kevin Harvick Chevrolet Shell / Pennzoil - - - 17 187 Kenny Wallace Chevrolet Furniture Row / DenverMattress.com - - - 18 16 Greg Biffle Ford 3M - - - 19 77 Sam Hornish Jr.* Dodge Mobil 1 - - - 20 44 Dale Jarrett Toyota UPS - - - 21 15 Paul Menard Chevrolet PEAK / Menards - - - 22 34 John Andretti Chevrolet Makoto - - - 23 83 Brian Vickers Toyota Red Bull - - - 24 18 Kyle Busch Toyota M&M's - - - 25 1 Martin Truex Jr. Chevrolet Bass Pro Shops / Tracker - - - 26 7 Robby Gordon Dodge Jim Beam - - - 27 66 Scott Riggs Chevrolet State Water Heaters - - - 28 17 Matt Kenseth Ford DEWALT - - - 29 01 Regan Smith* Chevrolet Principal Financial Group - - - 30 28 Travis Kvapil Ford K&N Filters - - - 31 07 Clint Bowyer Chevrolet Jack Daniel's - - - 32 38 David Gilliland Ford FreeCreditRep ort.com - - - 33 70 Jeremy Mayfield Chevrolet Junior Johnson's Midnight Moon - - - 34 22 Dave Blaney Toyota Caterpillar - - - 35 19 Elliott Sadler Dodge Best Buy - - - 36 31 Jeff Burton Chevrolet AT&T Mobility - - - 37 96 J.J. I wouldnt mind seeing Waltrip win one with his own team.It would be nice to see Teresa realize that no one really needs DEI anymore.
Ill be ok with whoever wins as long as its not Kurt Busch or any of the new forgien guys.I would love to see one of the old schools guys win it,like Mark Martin,Bobby Labonte,DJ, or Kyle Petty. I'd like to see Bobby or Mark win it. I doubt it'll happen though. Probably be smoke or JJ. It woudn't suprise me to see Jr win it though. "Pain's part of the game," Mustin said. I was thinking Kurt Busch's brother Harry was going to be racing this year.

I have a feeling that youre not gonna be happy.LOL I dont care what you say,you know youre gonna smile a little if JR wins.Just so he can tell Teresa to stick it. Heck,I may even smile a little if JR wins.At least it wont be in a DEI car. "Some things are like a tire fire, trying to put it out only makes it worse. You just gotta grab a beer and let it burn." If he literally told Teresa to stick it on the air, yeah I'd laugh but if he just wins and gives all the credit to crook Hendrick, then the last thing I'd do is smile. I'd probably hurl. ![]() Respectfully yours, TAZRUGBY Bouncer, Gottfired Nation |

I think I am about to head up to Cullman for a race party.lol Friend of mine has track pass on DirecTV. It's gonna be cool. Especially if JR wins and we get to watch the whole race inside his car.

This may come as a surprise to many but Im almost pulling for JR to win today just to prove to people that he doesnt need his daddys money and his daddys team to win a race.Actually I would like to see him come in second behind Gordon.
