I wonder if this will get here in time to affect the game Saturday in Atlanta?

Yeah, the storm surge in Atlanta is supposed to be between 17 and 22 feet.
Yeah, I was talking about the threat of flooding.

Sonofabitch. This will not be fun if it hits the eastern part of LA or the MS coast.

And plauw, evacuation is for *******.

Just kidding. Mobile is far enough inland, though, that it's not really necessary.

They're expecting heavy rain inside the Georgia Dome too.

Hey Broctune, you may want to go ahead and give the Mayor of New Orleans a heads up this time about the hurricane as im sure he doesnt know anything about it. He can go ahead and get his plans together to blame FEMA again. Big Grin

There's an ad on the radio about getting help to people who need assistance evacuating the city. Apparently like 700 people have signed up for it and they say there's something like 37,000 people who need to sign up. I'm going to wait until Saturday or Sunday to decide whether or not to evacuate.

I bet Jindal don't just sit on the phone and wait for the Feds to come to save the day. I saw where he is already getting ready to declare a state of emergency.

He will probably threaten the stragglers and lollygaggers with castration.

When Katrina hit, a lot of people in Mobile lost power for almost a week.

I was in t-town at the time but my fiancee was in Mobile. She had no idea the extent of damage in NO until she got to t-town that Friday and saw it on TV.

I really hope this storm goes west.
