Could be bad news for alot of us across the south.

Maybe it will die out but if it makes it into the warm waters of the Gulf could spell bad news for Gulf Coast.....

Isn't that thing supposed to be a Cat 4 or 5 by the time it hits us? I read that it's only going to strengthen between the Caribbean and us.

Let's pray it changes courses like they sometimes do. It's never a good time for a major hurricane to hit the US, but particularly not in this economy when people are not as able to donate to the cause.

Well i know we are getting ahead of ourselves but if it is a major hurricane and will make landfall in the gulf... Please any of our posters on the coast take heed and evacuate if the order comes... Katrina took many lives because people didn't or couldn't evacuate....

Naw, they've already conditioned us to $4. They will use this as an excuse to take it at least $4.25.
