I hear you. I finished off all the beer I had in the house, but unfortunately all I had left was 5. At least I slept. I woke up this morning hoping it had just been a bad dream.

With a democratic Congress and Presidency I seriously doubt things will get any better, unless you are too lazy to go out and get a job to support your family.

I am a long way away from retirement and still have a bunch of kids to feed and cloth. Maybe I can get on some of the "programs" that will soon be coming down the pike. I might even be able to purchase myself a new bass boat and truck to pull it with.

True! Maybe a demo prez and a demo-controlled Congress will undo this dreadful federal arbitration and federal preemption. It is a major hypocrisy of the Repubs to claim they are all about states' rights and push these types of legislation through Congress.

That, for me, is the silver lining in the events unfolding.

I will say that more than the outcome of the presidential race, the gay agenda that is being pushed in various states bothers me greatly. I'm not bashing gays, but God never intended for there to be gay marriage. I'll probably take some beating on this one, but I don't care. It concerns me as a Believer!

Equus, I agree with you on the silver lining. I just pray that it isn't a trade off for even more of a moral decline in our nation.

I prayed that God would take his country back this morning. That starts with me. Lord knows I need some work.
