It's actually pretty simple. Dr Know is the alias that BH uses to spew his most hateful vitriol. He uses the BH name when he doesn't want to sound like a bitter mad man (it's not working).

Maybe I should start a thread, "ten reasons why I despise Obama" and people could speak about the depth of understanding of such words.
They could speak of the dearth of reading comprehension on this forum of all the unlettered, ignorant, and unlearned. How that only the educated elite can sit on the pinnacle of understanding and we could let jalamb control the thread with his wisdom and sattire. We could roll our eyes in disgust at all those who want to make words have real meanings and speak down too, and demonize, other forum members who passionately defend their beliefs. jalamb could be the "god" of the thread. Wow! He could really feel important then. He could with his keyboard pronounce people as racist, ignorant, or just plain evil by the touch of a few keys. Remember, he is lettered from the great University of Alabama, so that must qualify him to be right about everything he spouts, spews, or even thinks. wow! To be so gifted as the great jalamb. He believes he evolved by the process of something non-living becoming living. Molecules to a man. Wow! If only the rest of us could be so educated, enlightened, and could sit on his elevated perch and look down our noses at others less fortunate that us -- what a great world it would be. He can declare with the touch of a few keys that two poaters become one. That BH and Dr. Know are one and the same. If he states it, it must be true. Remember, he is enlightened beyond his few years of 20 or 22. He is the "god" of the thread and with the touch of a few keys he might become the "god" of the forum. All hail the pewer of his greatness. Bow before his wisdom. Stand in awe of his keyboard. Honor him for his sagacousness. Despise all who question his spaience. He is the "god" of the thread. jalamb has his minions. They come to his side, ready to do battle with all who choose to question the veracity of their master. They belittle the detractors while at the same time, declare their love and forgiveness for all. They bind themselves together in a pact that they defend their "god" of the thread. This Cosmic Egg will explode at a moments notice. They will declare by the keyboard that someone is racist, homophobe, and ignorant. Remember, it must be true if they declare it. Their keyboards are aflame with accusation without proof. They act if they can read hearts and and through their own eyes they make themselves better than others. Oh' to be like thee, jalamb! If only the rest of us could touch the hem of your garment. If only we were as elite, enlightened, and educated as you - grand master. But it can never be because the "god" of the thread hath declared us unworthy. I agree with some of the reasoning behind the criticism of Obama speaking at the Brandenburg Gate, but it's such as non-issue that it's not even funny. It's not like the venue of his speech is any reflection on his policy stances. I think this criticism is an indication of how desperately his critics want to discredit him. They know that a large segment of the populace agrees with his politics so they're trying to attack him for such trivial things as where he delivers his speeches, whether he wears a flag lapel pin, where his family's from, where he went to church, or what his wife wrote about in her college thesis. It's perfectly legitimate to disagree with his politics, but I wish all these attacks on such unimportant issues would end.

I know, it's quite the non-paragraph form rant. I didn't even read it. He's like the guy that comes home from his D&D session, puts on his tin foil hat, and just goes at it. I've really never encountered anyone like him. He's a man in his 70's with the rapport of a 12 year old.

Maybe Obama should just rent a decommissioned aircraft carrier, put on a flight suit, hang a huge banner that says: "Mission to be Accomplished"? That'd be awesome.
While I also think it's a bit much for a mere candidate to presume the right to speak at that location I do agree with CP on the rationale behind the request. After 9/11 we had the opportunity to unite the world behind us and instead we've pretty much alienated and pissed off everyone. Obama wants to show that he is a true "Uniter".
