Bias is more in what they chose to cover, the sensationalism in modern news, more so then party affiliation. But no network has been so biased to party affiliation than Fox News. There are many memo's that have leaked between the White House and Fox News that ask Fox to use "talking points" for different matters of the day....hense the White House using a 24 hour news organization to spin its dirty laundry and make it clean. This is about as irresponsible in journalism as you can ever get.

I also find it interesting that FOX News gives even time to both sides when they debate issues

What are you talking about? LOL Thats funny. I guess thats why last night, FoxNews didn't have but 2 minutes of the KeyNote speaker in the Convention last night, while every other news organiszation had the full 20 minutes....guess what they talked about right after those 2 minutes.....The new Obama attack add from the new swift boat guys...lol yeah, thats fair and balanced.

Were you actually watching FOX? Every night, Brit Hume has a panel to discuss the hot topics of the day. This panel usually has 3 people - one conservative, one liberal, and one moderate. They disagree throughout the discussion. During the Demo convention, they have 4 on their panel - two dems, two repubs. No other news source makes such strides. And I've watched them all

No, I wasn't watching Fox, but last night they only had 2 min. of the Keynote speech at the convention, then went staight into attacking Obama about an add their own company refuses to run. All the other 24 hour networks ran the 20 minute speech in its entirety. Watch, I guarantee they don't cut into ANY Keynote speeches during the Republican convention. No good standing democrats will put themselves on FoxNews to debate anything...why debate subjects that don't draw to the issues in the day, and just deal with sensationalism? Alan Colmes isn't a liberal...he's a nerd who plays a good role of not debating anything.

"Arrogant" has been a peculiarly used term during this campaign. It usually is used in conjunction with "elitist.'[/QUOTE]

Well, I said nothing about Obama...I was talking to a guy with whom I have something in common, advising him as a friend, that he is coming across arrogantly. So I don't understand the leap. Again, if that's what you want in life, it's your business

This is why you have little credibility with your claims. You don't watch FOX. You simply repeat stuff you read in a liberal e-rag. You can crack on FOX and claim that they are slanted towards Republicans. Keep believing that. Keep making yourself feel better about your position and your unbiased "sources." It just isn't true

I'd say CNN is just as bad as FoxNews. They have always leaned to the left. Hell, their founder is an atheist that might be one of America's most successful liberals.

Nothing I have said so far is false. Its readily availible for you to find on your own. I used to watch FoxNews until I saw the sensationalism, and because overbearingly patriotic in the run up to the Iraq War....straight irresponsible journalism.

There are countless studies that have been done that prove FoxNews are slanted to the right...not a belief, its a fact. While your liberal media claim is just a myth.

I read from many sources, and it came across many of them today about this story...just another proof of irresponsible journalism by FoxNews...they enjoy doing such things.

What I have said is true....my credibility isn't taking a "hit".

At least try to prove me wrong about this, and what I have posted. I can wait for your answer. Rolling eyes, namecalling, etc is usually the answer when ya can't prove it wrong.

I am not calling you names. I just find it interesting that you don't watch FOX, you admitted that you didn't last night, but still you make judgments and speak so certainly about it. I was watching it. I even commented on Hillary's speech on another thread. I heard one of the Repub. commentators saying that she didn't hit the homerun - I disagreed with him. I heard one of the demo. commentators saying she did what she needed to do. I didn't quite agree, though she performed well. I watch. I don't take anything anyone says as the gospel. They run everything through their own filters. I don't blindly endorse fox...therefore, I think your gross exaggerations discredit you

Again, this doesn't address the KeyNote speaker being cut off after 2 minutes on Fox. Again, I guarantee the Keynote speaker during each night during the RNC won't be cut off at any point by FoxNews. I do turn on FoxNews occasionally for the laugh factor, but I sure don't get my pulse of the nation thru them.

OK? Would you at least admit there is a left bias at CNN and FoxNews?

Sorry, let me rephrase that.

There is a left bias at CNN and MSNBC much like there is a right bias at FoxNews.

MSNBC has more than a left bias, they have anchors openly pulling for Obama.

I don't know what you are referencing - my bad. I was watching the Braves and ket flipping back and forth until Hillary's speech - because that was all I was interested in. I did the same the night before - I only wanted to hear Michelle Obama - the rest of the stuff doesn't matter.

Tonight I will listen to Pres. Clinton's speech. Tomorrow I will listen to Sen. Obama's speech. Fox won't cut out on the main speakers.

And BTW, Buckeye, when I said that your credibility was taking a hit, I was not referring to how you view yourself - I was saying that it was taking a hit with me. I'm not as apt to be influenced by your opinion if you aren't at least interested in seeing what FOX did for yourself before you start blasting them
