Law enforcement sources told Maass that one of the suspects "was directly asked if they had come to Denver to kill Obama. He responded in the affirmative."

Sounds like more than a possible plot...

I fear it will not be the only one. Regardless if you like the man or not, I am afraid there are a lot of nuts out there who will try this again.

What do you expect with all the right wing talk about him being Muslim, unpatriotic, etc. Some unstable person will take that crap too far.

Maybe I SHOULD get that baseball. Eeker

I'm kidding, I'm kidding. This is really scary. I wouldn't want to be one of his secret servicemen.

especially if he got elected. I don't like the guy and don't want him at president, but to try and kill the man is just plain taking it too far!

But people like Coulter, Malkin, and O'Reilly make off-the-cuff comments that seem to encourage such radical behavior, and after a moment of outcry, most people just carry on. But there are some who long ago lost the distinction between empty rhetoric and "a call to arms," and while everyone else has enough sense to say "hold up, that's too far," these nuts are busy trying to be heroes.

Link? I'd like to see (or hear) the comments that encourage such radical behavior. Seems even the ones that write the same crap want to make the excuse that their writing was taken out of context.
