My brother in law was in Iraq for a year. When they came home and got off that bus was one of the all time most emotional scenes I have ever witnessed.

I witnessed a c-17 offloading troops and equipment a while back at

Lawson Army Airfield. the familys were there and held behind a rope...

the soilders deplanned and lined up in formation to be addressed by the

command at Benning...It never happened. the familey's broke the barracade

and rushed to meet their loved ones and the command and MP's never flinched.

THAT.......WAS AWESOME!

needless to say...WELCOME HOME! Sons, Daughters, Moms and Dads.

I'll never forget that as long as I live.... Smiler

I was in the middle east during Desert Storm and my daughter was born the day we started bombing Iraq, Jan 17, 1991. She was 2 1/2 months old when I got home, 16 years old now.

My how time flies.

I arrived in the US at Bangor, Maine to a tremendous crowd of proud citizens that did not know us. It was touching. Then when we got back to our home in SC that was the most tremendous feeling in the world.

All troops should arrive to a crowd like we had then.

Remember and support them with all you have.

Yeah, that was a very touching video! I saw it the other day.

As much as I want us to finish the job over there, and do it correctly, so that it's not all a waste, after watching that video it makes me think "screw it, bring them home now!!!!".

Yep, the time has past...lets bring them home. If anybody has a problem
with that you did'nt serve over there and watch what unfolded every
single flippin day. there is No way you can watch You're back...your front
and the sides because the enemy is changing tactics as fast as you can
speak arabic...ask the thousands they already did and tried!
there IS NO Simple solution over there. If you have one please summit it
to the/you're nearest gaining command.
