Mike Helton will. There's just something about him I don't like.

France and his father were despots. These two ran the business for the betterment of the France family. The best interests of the sport were secondary in their considerations.

It's not at all uncommon for everybody to praise a leader, ruler, chieftan, etc, when there is no viable alternative to their rule. Bill Gates is the best example of this. His product is lousy and his company engages in illegal, anti-competitive practices, yet he's hailed as a great guy. Why? Because there's no competitive alternative to his operating system. Given his dominance and the lack of realistic alternatives, the American people have made their peace with a despot they can't rid themselves of. Same goes for the France family.

Xenu, what's got into you today bro?

You have to give the Gates some credit, I mean afterall they've raised over 33 billion to support people with aids, tuberculosis, and to fund children vaccinations in third world countries where they were dieing from malaria every day.

I'm just sayin'

For purposes of our conversation, let's differentiate between Gates the person and Gates the businessman. Microsoft isn't a company that has had an original idea in its history. In fact, their entire business is founded upon crushing original ideas and the competitors who create them. This is monopolistic, anti-competitive behavior. Such behavior is inimical to ideal capitalist practices.

My post regarding France is nothing out of the ordinary. Anytime that family comes up for discussion on this forum, I rip on them.
