Somebody was supposed to take me up around that area this year. But I aint saying who it is. Big Grin

I live in Natchez right now bensabamafan... And 'we' don't have deer like they do over here. Nevertheless, I think this has by far been the best deer season in MS State history due to Katrina. HUGE deer have been harvested all over the state.

OK... You won't believe this but the other night I killed a 11-point buck with my knife!

(after I saw a guy hit it with his Honda. Dam deer was HUGE. Unfortunately it was still alive but I took care of that. I couldn’t get a picture of it because it was so dark. VERY nice buck - bigger than the one i posted. I was also sad to see him go down that way. This was right outside of Downtown!)

I used to hunt in Natchez off of Palenstine RD.Killed some nice deer there.I went to high school in Ferriday so I know that area pretty well.

Ha! It wasn't far from there!

Hell, I'm not sure, but he claims it's mostly red, but it's not pure. He says this one he's after is extremely smart.

Red Deer are like hunting cattle (I hear). But I just don't believe they will cross though. Who knows.... later

Nature works in strange ways son. I, for one, won't doubt it. The guy's pretty reliable.
