Good Luck...

Well I have to take it.Its primitive weapon season right now.I know it shoots because Ive cleaned it and shot it since the "accident".If he is within 150 yards I have no worries.

Do you remember me telling you about my buddy from that particular corner of Forrest "2 'R's forever thank God" County? His land borders some high-powered politico's land. Well the politico brought in some Red Deer which are basically European Stag. Some got loose & bred with the white tail & now he's in hot pursuit of a hybrid of gigantic porportions. When they get like that I call em Camel Necks Big Grin I hope you get yours & I get his Big Grin

Im going to hunt him hard for the rest of the year. The rut is just now kicking in down here so maybe he will mess up and come with range.
Im pumped up right now and want to go hunting this evening but Im going to spend some time with my son.You can bet your butt that Ill be back out there monday though.

I liked your old signature a lot! Frowner

I didnt know they would interbreed.I would like to see the result of that. That would be a weird looking deer I would think. There was a lot of exotics that "got out" of their fences when Katrina came thru.Im waiting to see one when Im in the woods. Big Grin

I liked that sig too but got tired of trying to explain it to some of the idiots around here.

WHAT???? Are you sure about that??? I didn’t think they would breed with WT... If so this will create a new breed of deer here. Actually don't know if that would be good or bad. Non-native species have hurt us in MANY cases - It always backfires - i.e. Kudzu

I live in Natchez right now bensabamafan... And 'we' don't have deer like they do over here. Nevertheless, I think this has by far been the best deer season in MS State history due to Katrina. HUGE deer have been harvested all over the state.

OK... You won't believe this but the other night I killed a 11-point buck with my knife!

(after I saw a guy hit it with his Honda. Dam deer was HUGE. Unfortunately it was still alive but I took care of that. I couldn’t get a picture of it because it was so dark. VERY nice buck - bigger than the one i posted. I was also sad to see him go down that way. This was right outside of Downtown!)

We didnt have too many Hogs this year. Don't know where they went. That's good and bad... I went after one with my recurve in the snow a few weeks back. Beautiful hunt just no game.
