I might be way off on this, but when I'm praying for someone I am engaging in an act of love, not emotional love, but an action to seek what is best for that person even though I may be opposed to, disagree with or in some cases someone that has done harm to me, my family, a friend or my country.

I'm not going to say I'm good at this because I'm not, but the way I look at things, those of us who believe in prayer, have been loved and granted grace beyond anything we can comprehend and to the degree that we get that, to that degree we will, or at least should, be willing to grant grace to others... even those we don't think deserve it, after all I don't deserve what I have received by a long shot.

If thats the case, McCain should win in a landslide. Your scenario assumes everybody thinks Obama is incompetent. If everybody thinks that, November won't even be close.
