quote: Phoenix, I read an Associated Press (I think it was the AP, but that usually means locally generated) story a couple of years ago about ghosts at the Ghettysburg battlefield. They've had visitors at the site that have reported(nonexistent) Civil War-era troops going through formations, routines, etc., thinking they were part of an orchestrated daily troope for tourists or something, only to discover later that nothing of that kind was scheduled.
I've heard that before, & if I remember right,it seems like even a former president saw what he thought was a reenactment only to find out that there wasn't one that day.
One word...."Stratedgery."

my sorority house at alabama is on what is called "first circle"...meaning it was one of the first houses built there....it's not incredibly old, but-it's one of the oldest ones and it's getting up there...
anyway....right after my senior year, about 5 or 6 of us decided to stay in town after exams and go out...i came in early that night, checked in with the house guard on duty that night...i was the only one in the house at t he time...
went to sleep, woke up about 30 minutes later and decided i wanted to go to the basement(the basement had our chapter room, a lounge area, and a small closet sized room with a soft drink and snack machine) to get a coke out of the soft drink machine...
now , i'd lived in my sorority house for two full years at this point.... you can hear everything down there...the first floor rooms all had hard wood floors....you could especially hear all of the chairs dragging around the dining room during dining hours...
so,i'm down there, by myself (and NO i had not been taking drugs or drinking much), and i heard all of the chairs in the dinning room dragging and rattling around...
i ran upstairs, no one was there...the guard was outside...i made him walk through the entire house with me...we were the only people there...
don't know what it was...i just know that i heard a noise that i had heard many times before, but no one was up there....it scared the s##t out of me!!
Bingo, KD,AGD OR TRI DELT?

That's what some people told me when I was there. The Gettysburg battlefield has awesome vibes I can say that.
