Same steer Spot...however, he should be hamburger in a few of weeks. It's true #1, my son was out of town or gone for the day and I had to feed and water it. I wasn't paying attention, I was half leaning over into the pen and he licked me. He got my arm/armpit as well. It freaked me out a little.

I had a shirt on. I never knew they long tongues though. I don't fool him much because he will become a pet in my eyes and unfortunately I know what his future holds in store for him! Frowner

@ #1...Deep breaths...deep breaths.... Wink

@ Zuter....Now when did either me or Peanut even suggest that she was feeding the cows in the buff?? Geez you guys sure can read a lot into a simple, honest, question....

Although next time Peanut, instead of trying to coax the steer with a plate full of oranges, maybe you should just pull out one of your .......well....you know....... Big Grin

Number of cattle.... ONE! That's right, one. The steer belongs to the 16 y.o. He is in FFA. In the past he has grown/shown, and then sold plants. Has made good money that way. Businesses in our area are really good about supporting the AG. students. This year, Brody got a steer to show and sell. The steer had to be in out possession back during the summer. March 8th is the day he is auctioned off...well, if we can get him settled by then. If not, we will have to take him to the market. Eeker
