Come back to reality Mike.

The last reason is for you to win and not even The Rabbi can deny this one. The media, the nation, and the SEC higher ups themselves want to see an Alabama/Florida rematch. There is too much money involved to have anything but tradition rich Alabama and the ratings home-run that come with a Tebow-led Florida team. The refs will be your 12 man on Saturday. Its sad to say this but its true. We have seen it all year. All the power to yall. I wish it was us the refs loved. So this is one reason why yall might win.

Oh Mikey . . . really? I mean, REALLY? A vast conspiracy? Mikey, Mikey, Mikey.

i would suggest reading the analysis jessN had over at tidefans.

my five reasons (really stretching my imagination on this) would be:

1: your (LSU) corners are good, better than bama recievers
2: you jump to an early lead because of bama turnovers
3: colin peek not playing
4: freak injury for bama playmakers
5: trinidon holliday has a huge day with returns

Well these are legit reasons however lets move on to reason number 4 which will include some of the reasons you bring up.

Reason #4- Bama is capable of giving up the big play. Saban likes to send the corners and this will allow our speedsters such as Holliday to make the big play. Im telling you Alabama has not seen the speed you will see on Saturday. Russell Sheppard is getting his shot now, and we have two receivers on the field who are sure bets to be drafted in the first round. Im talking about Lafell and Tolliver.

why do you keep saying that Bama hasnt seen the speed or diverse offense that LSU has? They all saw it last year. Bama returns 9 starters and like 18 or so of the 2 deep on defense. they all saw a faster and more diverse offense in Utah and Florida last year. LSU is not better than those 2 teams of last year. And these are the same players. I dont doubt they learned something from it.

what exactly have the refs given Bama this year? Dont say the UT game, that was no gift, that was the rules. And i saw plenty of fouls that could have been called on UT (like pass int on Julio in the end zone, and plenty of holding on the UT offensive line) that were not called. So i say again, dont beat around the bush, spell out exactly what the refs have given Bama this year

I nominate this entire thread as the most BIZARRE and POINTLESS thread of all time. Here are 5 reason I think Mike the Tiger is either drunk, high, or both:

1. "Im telling you Alabama has not seen the speed you will see on Saturday."
2. “All Bama can do now is hand- off to Engram. This can be stopped. Tennessee did it.”
3. “The refs will be your 12 man on Saturday. Its sad to say this but its true. We have seen it all year.”
4. “Reason #5 coming after I empty this last gargage can.”
5. "The last reason is for you to win and not even The Rabbi can deny this one."

I don't understand this reasoning either. Bama hasn't received any "beneficial" officiating this year. Florida got the bogus call against Arkansas and LSU got the bad call against Georgia. Those are the big "bad" calls this year. Bama hasn't been part of that.

Mike, looking at this as an objective fan of college football, I am not 100% against this reasoning. It is human nature to offer some sort of bias towards something. Rather it be the color of the uniforms or ratings that a team could garner versus another team. Unfortunately, refs are not immune to this and could cast some calls our way more than LSU.

But as it was previously mentioned, Alabama has not been awarded some bogus call to win a game (i.e. Arkansas/Florida, Georgia/LSU). I guess we'll have to take a look at how the refs call the game when it's over to determine if Alabama really did obtain helps from the refs.

And the last reason-never underestimate the importance of luck in a football game or any contest. Les Miles has more horseshoes up his arse than any coach alive. How many games has he won that really just as easily could have lost? Luck will be a major factor in the outcome of this game. Now if yall excuse me Ive got to go to homeroom for my detention assignment.

I love you too Mikey . . . in a manly, Brian Piccolo/Gale Sayers sort of way. I pick at you but I do appreciate your willingness to come on here and interact during game week. I'm looking forward to the game Saturday and to exchanging thoughts with you next week, whoever wins.
