One reason why this thread is moot:

1) On Saturday, November 7, the game will be played.

Face it, 4 weeks ago even I would not have given LSU a chance but seems there has a role reversal and Alabama has regressed and LSU has

steadily improved. It happens in NCAA

basketball all the time, the hot team wins, maybe not the best.

Another reason is your QB has lost his self-confidence, Saban and GMAC himself have said this.

Reason #3- Alabama has become a one-dimensional team. All Bama can do now is hand- off to Engram. This can be stopped. Tennessee did it. Its going to be very hard to win without some sort of passing game.

Florida beat yall at home only being able to run the ball.I guess Lsu is like Tennessee they except close loses and look at them like wins, Florida didnt hardly pass at all and beat Lsu, we will do the same.

LSU offensive coaches were asleep for this one. Why they did not open things up is beyond anyone.

i am not too concerned about your QB, RB, OL or DL but my area of focus for the matchups are lafell, tolliver, holliday, jones and patterson.

i would suggest reading the analysis jessN had over at tidefans.

my five reasons (really stretching my imagination on this) would be:

1: your (LSU) corners are good, better than bama recievers
2: you jump to an early lead because of bama turnovers
3: colin peek not playing
4: freak injury for bama playmakers
5: trinidon holliday has a huge day with returns

Well these are legit reasons however lets move on to reason number 4 which will include some of the reasons you bring up.

Reason #4- Bama is capable of giving up the big play. Saban likes to send the corners and this will allow our speedsters such as Holliday to make the big play. Im telling you Alabama has not seen the speed you will see on Saturday. Russell Sheppard is getting his shot now, and we have two receivers on the field who are sure bets to be drafted in the first round. Im talking about Lafell and Tolliver.

Alabama has not seen the SPEED? This is a joke, right? I had no idea LSU was this fast..we might as well not even show up. Roll Eyes

And against Florida??? It is easier to open it up against defenses that suck like Auburn and Tulane and plus Auburn gave yall the ball inside the 20 like 3 or 4 times. I think Lsu had the same WR's last year too right and a much better offense line than you have this year. We will see hope to see you on here monday!!!

Not really...his fumble was the only thing that allowed them back in the game.

When I saw this post by Mike the Tiger I was intrigued. He usually has quality post. But Mike, even you know this is going to be a tough game for LSU and your points of contention are pure conjecture. While LSU does have a pretty good offense, they haven't face a defense like Alabama. The only one that comes close is Florida who held your Tigers, at home, to only 3 points. Come back to reality Mike.

The last reason is for you to win and not even The Rabbi can deny this one. The media, the nation, and the SEC higher ups themselves want to see an Alabama/Florida rematch. There is too much money involved to have anything but tradition rich Alabama and the ratings home-run that come with a Tebow-led Florida team. The refs will be your 12 man on Saturday. Its sad to say this but its true. We have seen it all year. All the power to yall. I wish it was us the refs loved. So this is one reason why yall might win.

Faster than Alshon Jeffrey of USCe or McCluster from Ole Miss? Come on, give me a break. You haven't seen speed on defense like you will see Sat.

ok..now i think the methane from that garbage can you are working with has tampered with your thinking. i thought you would present some intelligent reasoning...but pushing this ref conspiracy crap is absolutely trolling.

the storyline for LSU to win and meet florida back again in atlanta is equally strong as bama florida storylines...so for a LSU fan to say this ref crap is silly, being delusional and just plain juvenile.....good day to ya~

Whoa! Your reason #5 is a total change of direction there Mike. What's up? This thread is supposed to list 5 reasons that LSU will beat Bama, not the other way around. Confused

Reasons 2-5:
2. Corndogs
3. Corndogs
4. Corndogs
5. Corndogs

We can't possibly match that.
