I yelled so loud it felt like I had a brain freeze. That probably isn't possible to get a brain freeze from just yelling but it did feel that way. My head was dizzy feeling but I kept yelling and it was just North Texas! So Alabama fans YELL, YELL, YELL like there is no tomorrow!!!!! Be so loud that the people at home can't hear or hardly hear the television announcers or even Eli Gold and Phil Savage on the radio!!!!! Make life so miserable for LSU from start to finish!!!!! ROLL TIDE!!!!! BEAT LSU!!!!!

I'm with you Dee! North Texas was the only game I've been to this year and I blew out the ol' vocal chords. Get loud Bama fans! Roll Tide!

You can forget trying to get people off their a s ses to yell. I've been told to quit standing up on third downs to yell. Bama fans are lazy. I think the older folks are spoiled from the days of coach Bryant and I've been going to games since 75.

There's a part of me that agrees with that.

But then there's the part that thinks that if the players need our help, then they don't have what it takes to be champions.

There are more old people at games than any other age group.

What you got against "Old People"? Apparently We were Tide Fans long before you.

Bro I'm not flaming you in particular...but why do we have to have these same uninformed posts before every game? I go to every home game and I have been to almost every other stadium in the SEC....BDS was very loud for the UT game and it will be very loud for the LSU game....and yes there are some older folks who aren't loud and even though I do cheer loudly, I also realize that they paid for their ticket and (as long as they don't break the stadium rules) it's their right to do whatever they want to do...Actually, the truth is that many of the people who yall want to label "bad fans" for not being loud are the ones who write the big checks that give us the opportunity to have the best coach and some of the best facilities in CF.

I love open forums. You just have to realize that giving a voice to everyone also unsurprisingly gives a voice to fools; as well as people who appeal to ignorance by sounding like geniuses while communicating blatant nonsense.

Well that's great but what is the point of being at the game when they could afford the newest 100 inch plasmas from which they could watch it in the comfort of their own home. Buy the tickets and give them to their grandchildren so they can go an yell their a s ses off.

If that's not good enough then please don't tell me to sit down when I'm yelling during crucial periods of the game.

I think you would be hard pressed to back up your anti-old people bias with factual numbers.

More than likely, these "old people" paid their noise dues back in the day while training the next generation of wetnoses how to be super loud when the crowd was 20,000 instead of 90,000 like it is today.

The fact that they are still buying tickets and showing up for games is testament to being a true fan.

They have earned the right to sit there and listen to you blow your vocal cords out.

Those old farts need to cheer for the team or GTFO.

If it were not for some of them you would be so passionate about Bama football. Its a testament to Bama football they are still coming to the games. You too one day will be old and I hope you remember this statement when someone calls you old man. It might come back to haunt you. Consider some of them might not be allowed to physically exert themselves. But I would take 10 of them over one of you.

I'm one of the "old farts" that y'all are referring to and I'd like to give you permission to kiss my @ss. I do and have supported Alabama athletics before most of you were even gleams in your daddy's eye so go to the games, yell your heads off, have fun (within stadium rules) and create many wonderful memories...and leave me the **** alone! Thanks Wink

I cut out the bottom of some old bama cups to yell through. I cheered the whole UT game and didnt lose my voice. And more importantly, didnt lose the game Smiler I encourage everyone to makeshift a yell cup and use it tomorrow. Heck, I may even make some more and hand them out to the people around me to help. ROLL TIDE!

Does it count if I am yelling at the top of my lungs but sitting down? There is no one in front of me really so I just stay in my seat but scream and yell the whole time anyway.

At the Tennessee game I was almost without a voice by halftime.

If you are yelling and sitting down, stomp your feet to make it count.

Wrong. Most of those types are in a box, the zone, ivory club, etc.

No, he said to be loud. That is completely different from acting like an idiot.
