I've loved 'em all over the years, but in addition To Shaun's God given talent, he oozed CLASS out of his pores. My all-time favorite.

Like I said, it's hard to say. Can't believe I did'nt mention Wilbur Jackson, he was awesome. Ricky Moore from up here in Huntsville was pretty darn good.

Shaun is definitely my favorite, just the way he seemed to shift his shoulders and get past people was/is awesome.

Does anyone remember #28 Brian Steger? I think he was there when Stallings was coach. I remember thinking he was gonna be great, but it never worked out.

Tony Nathan.

However, I am trying to place a memory here.

In one of Tony's last games (perhaps a bowl game?), he fumbled the ball twice in a game BAMA eventually lost. I remember the TV showing Tony on the sidelines and he was literally trembling as he choked back the tears. You could tell that he knew that he had lost the game for the TEAM. It was sad but beautiful at the same time. You could tell he really cared about the TEAM and was sorry that he had let them and Coach Bryant down!

Ahhh, running backs. There are so many good ones.

I remember first watching Shaun Alexander. I used to think, "geez, this guy falls down way too easy", but he could out-run the best of them, and still can. Ive never seen anyone that has a "nose" for the endzone like Shaun.

Shaun was my favorite. Ordered NFL Sunday Ticket just to watch the 'Hawks every week.

Let's not forget one of the toughest guys ever to play the position, though -- Ray Hudson.

Lassic was amazing as well. Very much a Barry Sanders clone with the quick cuts and the ability to seemingly be horizontal to the field but still using his toes to drive forward!

I liked Ogilve too. He didn't have blazing speed, but he had heart and he wouldn't quit. In terms of speed, Shaun is very deceptively fast. You watch him and think he's so big and then he's by you and gone.

The younger generation such as myself who wasn't able to see the Tide during most its glory years would definitely say Shaun Alexander. I remember that fabulous season he had when we beat Florida in the SEC Championship game and then played that great Orange Bowl but lost to Michigan in overtime because our kicker missed that extra point.

Going back to my younger days I would say Dennis Riddle. But all time I have to go with Shaun Alexander. I just think he is a class act.

Liquor? I hardly even know her.
