Talking favorites, we all kinda have our favorite players at certain positions. SO i would love to get many as I can to answer who is there favorite RB to ever play for BAMA. My personal would be a close one between alexander and Bobby Humphrey. Like to hear what others think

I've been watching the Tide for 40+ years. I would have to say Alexander is probably the smoothest runner I have seen. Kerry (sp) Goode may have been close had he not blown a Knee. Musso was tough. Tony Nathan was great, running, blocking and catching. Hell, It's hard to say, there have been so many good ones. What some did not have in talent they made up for with heart.

Bobby Humphery was prob my favorite when I was a kid. As far as backs go from lately I really liked Ray Hudson. He wasn't the most talented but he was wide open about a half second before he got the ball. Sometimes that was good sometimes it wasn't, but it was exciting to see. I also liked Brandon Miree I talked to him after spring practice one year, and he was a classy guy. He was a monster too, wish he could have worked out. Oh yeah, and watching Dustin McClintock through a shoulder was pretty fun too.

jb, I'm with you on Humphrey and Shaun. Unfortunately I was only 8 when Bobby played but I went to a number of the games and remember he was ridiculously good. I guess I'd have to go with Shaun since I was in college at the time and have a lot more lasting memories of him (games against La Tech,BYU,LSU,etc.)

wilbur jackson.
he never played the fourth quarter, not much in the second half. usually dozen carries at halftime 75 yards two touchdowns have a seat.
couldve won the heismann if allowed to tote the skin enuff.
his resting heart rate was 42 when in college.

Butt I guess #2 is Shaun Alexander. Still have a place in my heart for Derrik Lassic though.

a lot of great backs at Bama of course, but Dennis Riddle could get the yardage when you really needed it...

I believe his name was Ricky Jones. He would knock your socks off. I was in Jackson MS when they played MS State and he hit someone so hard it gave them a free nose job
