on how good he was treated at the game on Finebaum. He said everyone was very cordial to him. Smiler

Good... This is what we need to be hearing. Not a bunch of Frat Daddies throwing cups at a team for winning and celebrating a hard fought win.

That's nice to hear. Its sad that at any given game you could be sitting next to a section of wonderful fans OR you could be sitting next to some drunk lunatics. I've been to different game in different sections and about 1 out of 4 times we usually sit next to some annoy fans who either spill stuff on us, knock into us or proceed to scream in our ears at every player that doesn't do something right the entire game.

I was one of the fans he spoke of... I can't stand frat boys who only go to the games because of the frat they're in! I see alot of them only there to get drunk and it bothers me. I've never really seen the need to pay to have friends anyway, I've done just fine on my own. Yeah touchy subject! haha

Yeah man, we need more of that. It was pretty cool he took time out of his day to brag on a opposing team.

I was in a fraternity and take offense to that. hahaha, jk. Its college! Although I dont like the cup throwing. I dont like anything that doesnt have class involved with it...so you wont hear me taking up for them. But I wrote to say that all my business partners and friends had nothing but great things to say about our fans. They even thought it was odd that people were offering congrats to them and coming up to say "great game", etc...

I was happy to hear that. ROLL TIDE!

Most of our fans do have class. A few mess things up sometimes, but it good to hear that others see the good.

Nice to see he had a good time. We'll repay the favor in Athens in 2008. Big Grin

Here ya BT, they better beat us now. I got a sneaky feeling Bama losing is going to be few and far between before a year or so. Its great to be a die hard classy Alabama fan.

It kinds of makes you sad if you got dunno, hundreds of post of negative things about what a few fans did at a game and a positive post hardly gets recognized. When I posted this, with the way I've read threads this week, it would be overlooked and not taken as much. We played a team that hasn't been on probation for 10 years, a team that has had primarily one coach of that stint and we competed with them in CNS first year. Really, not even a year. MHO, tip your hat to there team and be proud of our boys. We was out talented over all and still fought our hearts.

Alot of ppl will remember when Saban wins the SEC/NC but guys, we are watching it happen right now. The loss to UGA had a lot of positives. We never gave up for one that we haven't seen in awhile. Thats heart, dedication, and pride.

They fought and came back on another team that had more overall talent that hasn't been on probation(YET). Thats progressive right now and I'll never forget it(not to mention the best tandem duo in running back in the county).

The way CNS and staff has started creating a champion caliber team is admirable and in MHO these few games even if we lose will be something to remember for ages. Roll Tide my friends. Even if this season is not perfect to some its coming.

The Tide is Rising
