Got a Buddy of mine who's son is serving our country fighting the rag heads. He told me today he heard from his son and the Bama game will be shown live this week-end (6:00 AM Raghead time). All missions have been suspended until after the game. RTR

Alright! The Armed Forces Radio and Television Service network came through.

I've listened and watched Alabama play all over the world thanks to AFRTS. It does make a big difference when you are over 3,000 miles from home and feeling homesick, to know that for a few hours you can connect with friends and family through an Alabama game.

I hope both coaches remember to mention the troops when they are interviewed/questioned during the game.

I was in Desert Shield in Saudi Arabia during the 1990 season. Luckily the first 3 games of Bama's season were all shown...all losses...(Stallings first season...)
