I was listening when Herb, Ray, and Kelly came on air, and Ray Mellic said (and I quote) that "the BOT never had a meeting yesterday," and president Witt is leaving this afternoon for holiday break. If a decision is mabe it could be tonight, but if not tonight, we are probally looking at next week.. This is NOT SPECULATION !!!! I heard this with my on ears....

Is this the same Ray Mellic that stated in his column/article that Dennis Franchione told Mal Moore that he could only win 4 games in 2006? Is this the same WJOX690 that got rid of the greatest show ever Wimp and Sonny? Is this the same WJOX690 everytime I listen I hear Mike Shula is great and wonderful and doing an excellent job! If it is I take it with a grain of salt.

I'm like most of you, I don't know if the BOT actually met yesterday or not. But I do know that they did meet Sunday afternoon. I saw some of them with my own eyes.

AL.com has a story posted this afternoon where they interviewed the board member who traveled with the Tide to the Paradise Jam. I don't recall his name, but he said the BOT has not met. I have the article posted on a previous post. I don't know who or what to believe.

Get ready for more on this type of BS from 'The Big Time'. This happens every time there's a major breaking story in this state. They have zero sources or connections, so they guess and make leaps to what they THINK happened, and pass it off as fact. As I recall, they also swore up and down that Franny was staying, and to Finebaum's credit, he refused to say a word, and said he wasn't going to say anything till he had something he knew was true.

He waited, then broke the story that Franny was gone, and left JOX and the other hacks looking like idiots.

Again, if you're looking to Ray, Herb, and the woman formerly known as the 'rich b*tch' on Tuttle and Kline, for your info on this story, you are looking in the wrong place.
