Unless we drop a game at Notre Dame or NC State, we have a good chance of being 14-0 starting the SEC Schedule against Arkansas.
I watched the game last night and was truly impressed with the apparent depth the team has. Richard Hendrix is looking like he's going to live up to everyone's expectations.
Yes, Alabama is and always will be a football school, but this Alabama basketball team has the chance to really take some of the sting out of a miserable fall.
I think we will give Florida a run for the money. I was impressed with Gee last year and his has taken up where he left off. Riley may be the missing piece to the puzzle. He can be the wing shooter we need. I think Coleman will get more and more playing time as the season goes. He will be a man by the time we hit the sec schedule. 23+wins should be very real possibility. 3+ seed in the NCAA tournament is obtainable

We also have depth this year. Something that hurt us last year with injuries and people jumping to other teams. We have a quality bench, a must for all great teams. Xavier was ranked as high as 30th last night which makes the win a great early season victory. We may set a single season win record. Wouldn't that be nice!
I am very excited about this season, I think it is going to be great! If I hear Gottfried say this is a "very young team" one more time, I think I will puke. He has been saying that line every year for the past 8 seasons - STOP SAYING IT! This is as much talent as Alabama will ever have in basketball, so enjoy this year.
CMG finally has a bench along with veterans and a star type player, something he has not had in quite a while due to early NBA departures. I look for at least 25 regular season wins this season.
dee dee is a piece of ****, who knows nothing about sports.
