Thought I'd stir it up. He has the tools, the mental and physical toughness. They'll work with his timing and release, and accuracy. He's a gamer and will have something to prove to his critics. He's going to edge out UGa's Stafford. With an experienced O line, he's going to have better protection, and with the mix of talent at RB and receiver, he's going to shine.

true, but he also had a first year of a very complex system.

Good post.
Actually JPW is a better QB than Matthew Stafford. He's smarter, reads defenses better, better poised, he just needs some help up front, and in the receiving corps.
I agree. He should be an All American!

In God we trust. In coach Saban, we have profound respect and hope.
God bless you, JPW. We'll miss you!

Oh yeah, and I wish him the best and hope he'll have an awesome year. Maybe he'll blossom into his potential... perhaps he'll stink it up and we'll see Fanuzzi or McElroy.

Either way, I have faith that CNS will do what's best for us.

The evidence suggests that this idea is very, very unlikely. Until we see something that shows Wilson has greater capability to deliver results, your notion looks pretty outlandish. Could it happen? Sure. Almost anything could. Is it likely? Nope.

I'm sorry but JPW is not Stafford. He has his moments of good (Arkansas) but then he has his moments of awful (Miss State).

The main thing is that the whole offense is inconsistent. Stafford has Knowshown Moreno to balance the offense. We need a better o-line and premier back to make this offense great.

After the year JP had this year I figure you are the #1 and probably one of a very few fans of JPW.. I think JPW has lost all his confidence and he looked so bad this year and I just don't see him being much better next year..Hopefully I'll be proven wrong but I don't think so..I just hope that someone steps up in the offseason and Spring and takes over for JP if he can't handle it..JPW better improve cause I don't think CS will put up with another dismal year like this one was but who knows, I didnt think he would stick with him like he did!!!

Question # 1 mental game, where or when has he come off the covered rec to find the next one? Toughness, when have you seen him step into a throw knowing he is going to take a hit? Stafford is so far ahead of JPW. It would take a plane ticket to catch up.
