Jay Barker just said on WJOX that he just received texts from people close to the Alabama staff and said that the info of Bama offering him is incorrect and Hornsby has not been on their boards for recruiting for a while.

I'd like to personally thank Jay for bringing all this out. The only thing Jamar needs a football helmet for is to wear it while checking for roadside bombs with a stick in Iraq.

i'm sorry, this is downright offensive. as an oif III and oif V veteran, i know what it's like to "check for roadside bombs in iraq" and have seen friends die while doing it. to compare scumbags like this to american soldiers in a combat zone is ridiculous. use your brain before you post.

While Jamar Hornsby was a football player at UF he stole a gas credit card from Ashley Slonina who was killed in a motorcycle accident. Ashley was the girlfriend of Joe Haden, another UF player. He charged over $3,000 on the credit card. Criminal charges are still pending against him. I know Ashley's parents and know how devastated they were when they began receiving the credit card statements after Ashley's death. There is absolutely no way Jamar Hornsby needs to be on our team.

This is what I do but without a football helmet that funny and we dont want him either theres no tell what he would try to steal over here
