Auburn grad; lifelong Bama fan. And anyone who thinks that one has to have graduated from a school to have the right to be a fan of that school is not really a fan of that school.

broctune, I know you were probably just trying to get a rise out of some folks, but that was probably the most classless post I've ever read.

Yours truly,

Does it really matter? Does it make you less of a fan if you did not attend school there. I know a lot of people that went to Bama and do not care to go to the games. I know people that went to other schools that are the biggest Bama fans out there. So by graduating or not it does not determine your loyalty to the school.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I did. 93'. But that does not make me any better or worse than those who did not. It is not important in regards to this forum, or any sports forum. Passion comes from within the person, not from the educational process or the degree. We all have strong feelings for Bama, whether we attended, wanted to attend, grew up watching, or just living here. Grow up everybody.

I agree!! I know plenty of people that went to a different college, even my wife, but are huge Bama fans. I don't care where, or even if, someone went to school. If you do care, you're an idiot!! We are T H E University of Alabama!!

Congrats, StuBone. Don't you wish these jerkoffs that didn't even go to Bama would find another team to cheer for and start posting on another site?

Aubie, does your mother/sister know what you are doing? Plus, when Broctune finds out that you are using his name, he will pound you so far down in your socks that you will have to stand on your tip-toes to pi$$ in a saucer, because no self-respecting Bama fan would EVER say/write something so negative about other Bama fans--graduates or not. Now go away, before your father/brother/uncle finds out you are mingleing regular people.....jle

That's over the line. I'm glad to have those who didn't go to Alabama as part of our fan base. I'm especially glad that you weren't responsible for hiring our coach. What would you have done? Snatched Croom out of Starkville?

I've never understood the folks that go to a rival school, get a degree, and still cheer for Bama. More power to them, but that seems like a lonely way to spend 4 years (or more).

I wanted to be an architect at one point, then I found out that to stay in state, I'd need to go to allbarn. I'm not an architect.
