How many posts do you imagine it should take someone to develop a personal hatred of you? I'm guessing far fewer than you think.

there have been many threads on this subject posted in the past few years on this forum...they always generate a lot of discussion, debate, and high emotions...

i'm thinkin' broc came in from a FUN night, tidesports was boring and just wanted to start something, get things going(he's been around long enough to know what this kind of statement would start)...

granted, making the generalization that if you didn't graduate from alabama, you are a lesser fan than those who did is inflamatory...

BUT, it's bait....don't take it...unless you are just bored and want a good on-line fight..

most of us who graduated from the university could care less if the fans around us at football games actually graduated from alabama or not...we just want to hear some loud cheering, people standing up during the games with their shakers, and a huge rammer jammer at the end if we win...

ROLL TIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations.

Congrats, StuBone. Don't you wish these jerkoffs that didn't even go to Bama would find another team to cheer for and start posting on another site?

I would say that if these jerkoffs that you are talking about cheered for another team, then your fan base would go way down!!! And by the way, I did graduate from the University in 2000.

The process is in full swing!!!!! RTR

If you're a Bama fan, you're a Bama fan; when, where or if you attended college doesn't determine who is a true fan. It's pretty ignorant to suggest otherwise.

Graduated from UAH. Doesn't mean that I am more or less of a Bama fan than someone who did graduate from UA. Anyone who thinks differently can kiss my ***.

In his book entitled Rammer Jammer, Warren St. Johns chronicles the fan activiites of the RV crowd during the football season. This group of people are some of the most devoted, loyal and faithful fans the University has. Most of these poeple are not grads even though they spend huge amount of money supporting the team and the University. St. Johns asked one of these non graduate if they felt as strongly about the University as actual graduates. His reply was something like this "graduates are expected to be fans, that's kind of automatic, but for us, we have made a conscious decision to be a fan". Maybe that explains why they are so loyal.

By the way I graduated in 1964.

99 and 01.

Alumni are not automatically more passionate than non-alumni. It does not matter. You either get chills up your spine at ball games when the fight song is played once we score or you don't. (or similar situation, walking through the Bryant museum, etc).

I'm fairly certain they would if you had an RV parked next to them that weekend. They might not start off calling you that, but after the billionth time you tried to make it your mission to "see the light" on your "realist" opinion of BAMA football they would start it then.

Sort of like here when you claimed that your mission was to changed the minds of everyone to the way you think they should be thinking concerning BAMA football. Poor little ol' martyr...

I'm not a graduate from UA, but merely a poor Alabama boy raised in LEEDS,AL,and who grew up an Alabama fan. I won't bore anyone with my story but merely say that I have rooted for Bama longer than some of you have been alive and will continue to do so until I pass from this earth. To those who have graduated from UA,my congradulations to you. For those of us who weren't able to for whatever reason,I say thank you for being the fan you are and keep up the support. Now for those that feel otherwise so be it. I'm a fan of UA and will stay on this site for as long as I wish. Now if anyone wants to question my love for UA and my feelings for Bama,we can clear that matter up most tic.
