I belive he, and some of you guys, should keep the faith in church, where it belongs. The truth is not everybody is a Christian and they just want to watch football. If I want watch a sermon, then I'll turn to the appropiate channel. I don't know or care if he's sincere. I just want to watch football. I am a Christian myself, but I don't beleive in shoving it down people's throats. It just turns them away anyway.

Thanks for the laughs Kingpin...here are some reasons why I don't like Tebow:

...mostly just the overacting, the constant screaming, etc. It's hard to believe that players buy into that kind of rah rah bs. He is still a great player though.

If Tebow were exactly the same person he is today -- in every single way -- but he hadn't been so successful in his college career, people wouldn't hate him. The truth is that people find stupid nit-picky excuses for hating him, but they generally just don't like it that he's very, very, VERY successful and he gets a lot of media praise which they don't like to see going to players on other teams. Those are stupid reasons for hating a player, but it's human nature. If Tebow had chosen UA, none of the things listed in this thread as reasons to hate him would have mattered. The same people would have been slobbering all over him with praise. Double standards bother me, but I've come to accept them as human nature. (The interesting thing to think about is that the insults that our fans -- and others -- hurl at him would have been said by the Gator fans if he had come to 'Bama.)

The only one he cares about judging him is the Lord God and it is His opinion that matters.

Ironically many of Bama's players are very complimentary of Tebow and call him, "the Real Deal." It is sad to think that we are so hypocritical as to attack this young man when we'd have loved to have him in Crimson and White.

In the end everyone is judged, be sure you understand this.

If you don't like UF, that's fine!! Tim Tebow is a very smart, solid young man. A great QB too!!!

Get over him.

got to call bull **** on this one.just because he's a man of faith doesn't have anything to do with the hate he gets....not everyones out to get the christians....except maybe muslim extremeist. the reason that most people that do hate timmy hates him is because you can't watch espn without a teblow clip
