During the longest "down" period in Alabama's football history, if we beat Auburn we will be tied with Nebraska for the most undefeated regular seasons since 1992. If this fact is not a testament to the "staying power" of Bama I don't know what is. Pretty amazing. Hit the link.

From what i saw,the records were for undefeated seasons including there bowl games.Also Nebraska has 3 undefeated seasons since 92 and would only be Bamas second.

I said undefeated REGULAR seasons. Alabama was undefeated in the regular season in 1992, 1994, and now probably 2008. Yes, Nebraska had THREE undefeated seasons including bowl games in the 1990s. Remarkable.

It is not on the link. But you should know that Alabama went 11-0 in the 1994 regular season.

That link credits AU with several undefeated seasons prior to 1960. They were not Auburn prior to 1960 they were poly tech.
