Thought this was interesting. The RB who Spikes "eye gouged" said he should not be suspended. Just came through on espn.com. Here is the Link

"They talk about the Alabama family not being reasonable and realistic. Well hell no, we're not supposed to be reasonable and realistic. We're Alabama -- we're supposed to be the best." - Kenny Stabler at the 2007 SEC Media Days

There is probably a reason that states took control of charging people in domestic violence cases and wrested it away from the victims.

Unbelievable. There must be more to this.

"We intend to go out and hit people in the mouth. That's how we play. We're going to run the ball at you and we're going to stop you from running the ball. That's our personality, and we're going to have fun doing it." Rolando McClain

of course he would say that. the coaches will agree as well. if Richt said otherwise he'd be reprimanded by Slive.

This probably just means that he did something to Spikes earlier.

That is what I think. The more this goes on, the more likely his part will come out. That was a dirty game from start to finish.

I don't agree. I think it was just a pr stunt. The comments to the article say it all... What a classy guy kind of stuff.

Ealey is a freshman. I'm sure the Georgia upperclassmen reminded him that he still has three more beatdowns coming from Florida. He's probably trying to be nice so he doesn't get it worse next year.

You have to figure Spikes is in the drug business with that hair of his. I'm guessing some threats were made.

This is part of our no "snitching" culture. If Ealey had "snitched" on Spikes he would've lost respect from teammates. I'm not saying it is a prison-like culture, but snitching is definateley not in, in the younger culture.

You mean that same hair that Julio, Terrance, & Richardson seem to have?
