While I no longer coach HS ball, I really miss going to those clinics. I remember going to Nebraska's camp in about 1993.
Tom Osbourne had the chalk and had drew up a standard option play. Some clown in the back of the room stuck up his hand. He said, "Coach, I noticed you didn't block the weak side end on that play, won't he make the tackle?"
Osbourne relied, "Well, if he can scrap that far down the line that fast, we couldn't block his ass anyway, and we are going to get beat because that cat at weakside end is Superman!
Everyone laughed and the guy in the back didn't ask anymore questions.
