What do you guys think? Is this pretty accurate? Or do you think it will be different? This is for the first game against Clemson:

Offense
QB- John Parker Wilson
RB- Terry Grant/Glen Coffee
TE- Nick Walker/Travis McCall
WR1- Mike McCoy
WR2- Darius Hanks/Julio Jones
WR3- Earl Alexander
C- Antoine Caldwell
G- Drew Davis
G- Mike Johnson
T- Andre Smith
T- Marlon Davis

Defense
DT- Lorenzo Washington/Terrence Cody
DE- Brandon Deaderick
DE- Bobby Greenwood
OLB- Donta Hightower
OLB- Chavis Williams
MLB- Rolando McClain
MLB- Eryk Anders
CB- Kareem Jackson
CB- Javier Arenas
DB- Rashad Johnson
DB- Justin Woodall

Does that look about right?

I think BJ Scott and Julio start, along with McCoy.

wow uhh.. get Ali Sharrief out of there. lol replace him with Arenas/Lawrence.

and stick Cory Reamer in there for Charlie Higginbotham or Chavis Williams.
just my opinion!

I haven't seen anything that says Cardwell or Love is first team.

Stover has reportedly been slipping of late...not sure if that report was to motivate him or not.

Yeah I don't know about Cardwell or Love. I think I even heard speculation that Love might redshirt. Sharrief will not start at DB, as he is competing for the safety position and will probably end up behind Woodall.
Coffee will start.
Also I think Earl Alexander is one of the top 3 receivers. Julio will not be starting against Clemson. He will play but not start.

Cardwell is 3rd team right now by most accounts. I think M. Johnson and D. Davis will stay at first unit, but time will tell.

I also think Earl Alexander will start.

And Eryk Anders is apparently the surprise of fall camp. A starting position is his to lose.

Coffie for Grant...and Saban clearly stated that Drew Davis is a starter at RT.
Caldwell is our Center.

Looks pretty good, but the linebacker postitions are going to be interesting to watch evolve. Not sure about Hightower starting, but certainly nothing is on stone at this point (other than McClain).

My take on it...

OL is 100% solid at this point.
L-R: Smith, Johnson, Caldwell, M. Davis, D. Davis. Nothing to the contrary of this has been reported. All 3 frosh (Love, Boswell, Jones)appear to be 2nd team, with Motley and likely Vlachos.
TE: Walker with McCall joining in 2 TE sets.
QB: JPW, McElroy as back-up/mop-up
RB: Grant and Coffee platoon, Ingram looks like he will see reps. Upchurch appears to be slipping off the radar.
WR: Appears to be McCoy and Jones, with Maze in the slot.
Next up in the slot are Scott and Hanks, split out are Stover, Alexander, and Gibson - any news on Chris Jackson?
KR/PR: Arenas and probabaly Maze 2nd, possibly Scott
----------------------
DL: Washington, Greenwood, and Deaderick. Cody in 4 DL sets. Cody could bypass Washington. McCullough and Chapman I think see a lot of action as well, and I see Dareus coming on.
LB: McClain, Fanney, C. Williams, and I think Hightower takes Reamer's spot
Upshaw, Watkins, Kirschman, and Anders see time
DB: Jackson, Johnson, Arenas, Woodall. Probably Barron at "Star" in nickel sets. Lawrence, Sharrief also see time.
K: Tiffin, C. Smith might be a KO specialist.
P: Fitzgerald
------------------
Contributing Freshmen (in order of influence):
J. Jones, D. Hightower, T. Cody, M. Barron, M. Ingram, BJ Scott, C. Upshaw, A. Lawrence, M. Dareus, J. Harris, T. Love, C. Smith, C. Jackson

I think the rest are definite redshirts, and Smith, Love, and Jackson could RS on above list. Some others not on the list may see signifcant coverage roles on special teams, which could include Lester, Neighbors, etc.
