We shouldnt feel too bad about his debacle. After all, we lost with Shula's players, not Saban's.

The seniors are not providing the leadership that is required. I saw Castille and Hall goofing off as the team headed to the locker room after warm-ups. They hung back to be the last two going to the tunnel and jumped up and performed some goofy looking motion. They obviously weren't taking this game seriously. I would have thought after all the heartaches during their time at Bama, they would be ready to take care of business for their last home game.

Hey 1bamafan, I believe you bring up an excellent and valid point. Senior leadership is a very important part of any team sport and it sounds like there is alot of truth to what you're saying here.

That was a terrible loss, but as a Bama fan I'm moving on. This is still the Iron Bowl and we still need to break this ridiculous streak that Auburn is riding.

I'm as upset as anyone over the loss, but I'm not going to dwell on it because it serves no purpose. What am I going to do? Will I wake up tomorrow and be an Auburn fan? Nope, win or lose it's all about the Crimson Tide. I have confidence that Coach Saban will get this turned around in the coming years. ULM is the past now and all we can do is worry about Auburn. I hope we take care of them on Saturday and brighten the end of this season up a little bit.

Dissapointed, you have no idea. Unless this team digs deep to find their heart and spirit, I'm afraid next Saturday will be even a bigger dissapointement. There is no way you can blame any of these losses on Saban. He's too good of a quality coach to not prepare his team. It's his team that needs top prepare themselves.
Heart gentleman...we need to find our heart!
R O L L T I D E..beat Auburn!

1. Loss to LSU showed us glimpses of hope. We went toe to toe with the # 2 team in the country.
2. Loss to MSU was lackluster, flat. Still, a middle of the pack SEC team.
3. Loss to ULM - WTF?? Unacceptable.
4. Loss to Auburn - It will hurt...a lot. Time to start keeping tabs on recruiting in the offseason.

I'm pretty much in that same boat. I told a Vols co-worker today that our season is on Saturday. If we lose to Auburn I can't say I'd be too excited about a possible bowl game anyway.

Loser’s bread losers and The Crimson Tide has been loosing for several years now. The medicine Saban has prescribed will take some time to take effect. You can rest assured he is just what the doctor ordered. Most of you people have never played any sports, just watched, so it is understandable you can take the shots at him and Alabama as you all do so well. I have played and coached and I am so thankful we have a coach like him, he is going to win, and when he does what will you have to say.

It is time for Alabama Fans to realize that Alabama is just an average football team. We have average football players. Saban will not admit this because he cares for his players a great deal, but he knows the players he wants at Alabama are not the players he has now. As any good coach will do he will recruit players who are from the same mold he is from. At present Alabama is ranked #3 in recruiting in the nation and he will have them playing as a top 3 team as his medicine takes effect. Do you every wonder why people take the shots they do at Alabama. They know a giant is about to wake.

A 4 million dollar refund! what kind of statement is that? We have the best coach in college football. What would you do with a 4 million dollar refund....Hire Jesus Christ? I dont think even he could do much with this team. There are some really talented athletes on this team but there is no depth. As painful as it is to watch, most knew not to expect too much this year. I am pretty sure that during Coach Sabans first year at LSU that they lost to UAB but look at the results he had at LSU. I will take losing to UL Monroe if it means that he will produce the same results for us at UA. Give him a break, most are positive that he will get the job done....Bryant-Denny was not built in a day! I have a 6'2 255 pound 13 year old that cannot wait to play for coach Saban!!

Coach Saban, do me a favor, please silence JPW and his empty promises. He's not going to improve over the long haul & my beloved TIDE will continue it's downward spiral. Start another QB, any other QB for the IRON BOWL Get the team back on your side. I believe it will provide the "SPARK" Bama needs to whip the "BARN"! You can always put JPW in the game if need be. JPW is so spoiled & full of himsef, it makes my stomach turn! He's average at best & the only reason he's a starter is due to the TIDE's probation problems. I really doubt if he'd be a starter for any other team in the SEC or any other major conference for that matter! Just a little food for thought. Please listen to my PLEA!

Sure, I hate a loss just as much as the next fella. Losing to an I-AA team doesn't help matters either. But look at this way, Saban was giving the hand that he was dealt.(Notice, there was a period on the end of that sentence.) Is it too much to ask!?? Give the man a chance to do what he was brought here to do. It's probably going to take a least a couple of years to get it done and done right. As for Saban's salary, hmm, if I had built a National Championship team (and it looks like the same team he built is headed for a second title) yeah... I think 4 mil would sum it up. If any of us had that under our belts and someone came at us with 4 mil I guess we would turn it down huh? Yeah, RIGHT. Through thick and thin, good times or bad, it make no difference to me. You see, I know there are some good things coming our way and they are just around the corner. I am leaving this season with this in mind and in heart, I have nothing but Love, Hope, and Faith for my beloved Crimson Tide and that's all that really matters to me.

How in the Hell can you lose to ULM in front of 92,000 of the Alabama faithfull. This shows a lack of repect for the fans and a lack of CLASS (which Bear Bryant preached alot.) This team should not accept a bowl bid. They need to stay HOME
