What has happened to this team? Have they given up? Shame on the coaches and shame on the team. That is NOT BAMA FOOTBALL! (Or is it)? Has this become the norm now for Alabama? The tide has been up and down at times this season, but since the LSU game the tide has unraveled! John Parker has lost his confidence and Nick Saban is out of his mind to use him next week against Auburn. It's time for McElroy to have a chance. We were terrible today on both sides of the ball. Auburn is not the only ones licking their chops now. Shula has to be grinning from ear to ear too. I am mad, ticked off, sick, frustrated and tired of Bama's lack luster on the field. This is absolutely horrible!! Get with it BAMA! As fans we deserve better!!

Yes, you can always blame it on JPW.

He is a sorry QB. And while JJ had a major hand in the loss this week, JPW's 2 INTs were equally a major factor.

I can find no good in this guy as a player. Are his parents paying someone to keep him in the game? Are his parents big UA boosters or something?

The Booing is equivalent to being Benedict Arnold! I don't care how bad we looked, I will never boo my favorite team nor the players or coaches who represent it. I did not graduate from UA so maybe I don't have the "right" to boo anyway but I've cheered for the tide for 37 seasons and will do so until I die. With that being said, with timeouts remaining and time on the clock, we should have tried to score before the half. I will be disappointed if players who were suspended, even for a half, are voted team captains. There is only one way to go now that we've reached this level.

Sound off about the disappointing loss, and the Tide's chances to salvage a seven-win season next week at Auburn, RIGHT HERE.

Now see, you are so quick to blame JPW but if JJ had scored instead of fumbling, we are tied and go into overtime. One of JPW's interceptions was a tipped ball. Once a ball it touched, hard to blame it on the quarterback. It's like there is a tunnelvision.
Bama loss = automatic JPW's fault
Bama not playing well - automatic JPW's fault
Pass caught? oh that's a good thing for DJ Hall or whoever and of course JPW got "lucky".

I'm NOT saying he's a great/wonderful quarterback. BUT he is NOT the reason we lost. Once again, it is a TEAM effort to win or lose

JPW just isn't smart enough to be the quarterback at the University of Alabama.

Will anyone show up in Auburn next week? I don't think you could pay me enough to go.

Yep that is it completely, his parents are rich alums and demand that we play him. Forget that we have one of the best coaches in the game who we are paying $4 Million a year. Rich alums control who plays, it has nothing to do with ability or coaching. Warren Buffett's grandson will start next week at LB, and Bill Gate's daugther will be our kicker next week.

Where do you people get this stuff?

Honestly, I think JPW's problem is mental. He needs to see a shrink (and I'm not saying that as an insult to him). Mentally, he just does not have what it takes to be a field general. I'm sure he's a nice guy -- he's just not a quarterback.

And as far as "booing" goes, yes, you do have a right to boo. Booing is the fan's way of expressing disappointment in a team or player's performance.

Well since he's going to start at "Jack" Linebacker, lets hope he knows how to not get blocked.

Oh, okay. Let me put a call into Warren and see if he'd like his grandson "Little Jimmy" to play both ways.

I can be patient, but not understanding. Why try to run a system with someone elses players? A 4 million dollar coach should be able to adapt to the talent he has. Maybe by running a simpler scheme or something. Don't criticize CNS until he has had a chance to bring his style of players into the fold. I just hope the bowl committee was taking nap during the game! Rammer Jammer beat the hell outta Awburn!!!!

PS Remember how happy you were in February???

If my memory serves neither Bear Bryant (5-4-1) nor Gene Stallings (7-5) had a great first year. Just got to keep looking at the big picture. .................... SIGH................ The rest is speechless.
