Agreed. I read the thread and Trip(p)leOption came across as a huge douche. TO, in case you didn't know, the majority of football players that live on campus live in Bryant Hall. Bryant Hall also houses Engineering students, which covers the no athletic dorm rules. BUT, PLENTY of football players live there. I've been in BH multiple times.

I agree, and would further state that we really shouldn't personally attack ANY poster, at least any poster who is engaging in reasonable discourse.

Also, I don't understand attaching status to post count. Some people post dozens of frivolous posts every day. Meanwhile, the most respected writers in the world "post" maybe one column per week, if that. Quantity does not equal quality.

I've read some excellent, thoughtful posts from so-called "Gilmers," and plenty of utter crap from people with huge post counts. We all need to raise the level of discourse, and (if you'll forgive the expression) conduct ourselves with class.

We do have some real smart a s s e s here. Thing is they bring out the smart a s s in others that normally would not do that, like me. I am guilty of getting fed up with jerk and fired off like a butt.

I am not proud of it and apologize. We have a wonderful fan base, bright future and a game this Saturday.
