I'm afraid many of our posters are a**holes and that was just one example of it. I hope those same posters are man enough to come online and apologize.

Something does not add up. It is reported the shots were fired between 2:30 and 3:30 AM. His post was at 6:39 PM reporting activity there. According to the report the shots were not fired until 8 hours later.

That is strange. The report also states that the bullet was found inside a dorm room, while the poster reported that the altercation was outside the building.

Shots were fired at 2:30 in the morning. He reported police activity at 6:00 that night.

On Sunday afternoon, University of Alabama Police Department officers responded to Bryant Hall after a student found a bullet in a dorm room near a bullet hole.
It says that the response was Sunday afternoon, and the shots were fired Sunday morning, not Monday morning.
I have NO tolerance for verb tense errors.
